  34. Its not the A600 all over again.. look who we are talking about.. these 
  35. guys at AT have some brains in their head and have some sense for 
  36. marketing a particle machine/technology that they own!

  38. You can bet that either the A1200+ will have a complete new chipset 
  39. giving better resolutions and better graphics (SVGA chipset with AGA 
  40. built in and an extra chip giving Amiga qualities to the SVGA chipset if 
  41. not built in also) or a reworked motherboard with new processor, SIMM 
  42. sockets and a built in CD-ROM drive with faster AGA chips (CMOS) thus 
  43. faster graphics.  This will improve the quality of software to the point 
  44. where it will seem like a new chipset anyways as people will be doing 
  45. more with the hardware that they wouldn't be tak1ing the chance to do 
  46. with it before.  THE LEAST the A1200+ will be is reworked motherboard, 
  47. new processor, SIMM sockets and NEW Paula chip supporting HD drives and 
  48. 16 BIT audio with possibility of built in HD drive instead of DD.  In 
  49. this short amount of time, they should at least have ONE new chip built!

  51. If any of these improvements are in there, it will be worth it and worth 
  52. upgrading to.
